They are ok in the wet as long as you right foot isnt applied when you go around a corner or roundabout lol

This was not the first case I have heard of them doing it either. Altenzo - Quiet, fine in the dry, come wet they are downright dangerous, understeer while driving mildly. they will be gone very soon.Accelera - Had them on the rear, for a cheap tyre I was quite happy with them. These are just my opinions based on my experiences. Being the king of sh*t tyres I am getting decent tyres next time.

I rolled till it was splitting, then bashed a few bits tighter.... the guard was STILL fouling on the top edge of the tyre, NOT THE SIDE, the fking top!!So no way in hell no matter how hard I had them rolled, were the staggered argents going to fit.I rang another tyre shop who sells the same staggered pack, they said they avoid fitting them to BA/F sedans at all costs. utes no worries as are all FG's.so all up, I paid to have my guards rolled for nothing, had to pay freight back to the nippers in melb and still no fking wheels.Oh well, new tyres on the 19's and it will be up for sale ina few months, im over cars. Only place that had 245/40/18 in falken in stock with same tread patterm to match my rears was the Tyre Factory... Went in... Waited for 2 hours for them to come out and tell me they only have one tyre... Not two... I stayed calm (VERY unlike me :-)I say I'll come pick em up Monday... He says he can't get another one for same price. WTF? Anyway... He rings around and gets one (apparently)... I go back there at 5pm today after ringing them twice... And being told that they'd be done...Get in... No Tyres... "Mayyyyyte, I can't get them.. How about Lexani...?" How about f*ck off!!!Long story short... I left... With 20 customers knowing the blokes are *beep*... My money and my wheels... (no Tyres...)They ended up with 10 customers walking out... One commander phone ripped out of it's socket and thrown across the room... And if the little *beep* wasn't hiding behind the desk... They would have had a sales bloke missing some teeth...I'm not an angry bastard... Unless someone makes me angry... It's not my fault >.<
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 15/02/11 01:48 AM Share Posted 15/02/11 01:48 AM With the power these cars can make. And the weight they have. You get what you pay for with your tyres. If the tyre has the slightest fault. Our cars will show it up strait away.My Kuhmo 31's are about 6/10's gone. And Iv'e got 10,000 so far out of them. I got 6,000 in total out of my Asy's. But it's been wet as hell for months and I have not done a track day this year yet, or on the Kuhmo's. There a good tyre for the price. Mine are still quite. Coarse chip brings out a fair bit of noise. But I am running 40psi in the wet in the front, so that does not help. They don't shine in any area. But perform very consistantly well across the board.Anything with an aggressive block pattern is going to be noisey.

I would put tyres as the most important thing on the car, its all that keeps us in control in the wet and dry.
