So what... I ran a few mid 11 sec passes and had some fun with the car in between, what is the big deal? So I guess you ran your 10.6 sec pass straight after your 10.7 sec pass and you did not have any runs in between? LMAOYou can read my other thread and I have disclosed every run in between the 10 sec passes. So now you want to question whether I actually ran an 11.18sec pass on the 19" Maxis... Here is the proof (pic thanks to Badger Photography which shows the tyres)

David,I think the track was ok but not at its best going by the comments I heard during the night from various competitors. The Maxis are a very good value tyre and I can vouch for them (that has to earn me a fresh set... ha!).As for the driver, I think the car with its smooth power delivery and chasis setup it ran the pass easily. I think my input was quite minimal and I should not be credited for a such a well setup car. Edited 03/08/08 11:25 PM by JP300

This thread was directed towards a non-sports use daily driven tyre that everyone can relate to.One evening I'm going to have a run with my Marangoni tyres to see how they go ... I can't ever seem to get my MT's to stick so I'd reckon I've got no chance with the Marangoni.Brian
Guest Guests Posted 07/08/08 12:50 AM Share Posted 07/08/08 12:50 AM The toyo is still a street tyre as it is legal to drive with them on the road. Not taking away from JP's efforts in any way though because that's a superb effort... Well done mate

Well done mate Street legal and what you drive on the street every can be very different. This thread is about what you drive on the street every day, not what you change to when you go to the track.Mauz's effort was excellent, but John's referring to something that is driven as a normal everyday street tyre, amongst that selection of tyres that we'd normally use or chose when our latest set is worn out, and which people can relate to.Brian
