lol, that's true, I could. Although after cutting up the wiring, that could take a while. Ill just take it out and see how I go. I could get lucky and the sales guy could just not care.

Any deal I've ever been a part of has some fine print in the contract that states they have the right to re-value the car if it's presented in a different condition to what it was at the time of the first evaluation.

They can revalue if they like, truth is they cant really make what I have worth much less. At $1500 how much more could they deduct from the price of trade in? Besides I put another head unit in there and Im giving them the original deck that came with it. The ultimate outcome will be when we finally swap cars over tomorrow. They are already getting original xr8 rims, professionally installed lowered spring and shocks as well as a camber kit, a full exhaust including extractors and a cheapish piggy back ecu. Ive left them with the speakers that I had hooked up to the stereo. I think for the amount they are giving as a trade in that's pretty fair.

I once traded a car that had mags on it when they valued it, but put stockies with hubcaps on it for when the day came.

I did tell them the mags weren't part of it, but it still looks heaps better with mags.

They value the car based on the condition of the paint and panels, then look it up in the red book.

A stereo would make sfa difference.

Lol, good point although the tyres are almost gone and the diff may not handle it. Not to worry though. All going well ill have a more expensive car to worry about things falling apart on tomorrow. Although the new car warranty still applies to it which does help
