Tinting Tail Lights Revisited

Did mine on the weekend with the gloss film. It was a bit of a pain to do for me. Looks good from far just dont get too close to it haha.

I have enough film left to redo them but I will leave it for now and see how it goes. Might be easier to take the lights off first. And it might come out better painting it...

Forgot to do the before/after shots but here is a pic I took this morning at work

I tried the film a couple of weeks ago on my spare set to compare it to my set I've done with night shades and I gotta say I was really surprised! The film looks f@&king sweet, has a real nice glassy looking gloss to it :) and yeah it's easier to apply the film with your lights taken out.

Tinted mine the other day just to see how it would turn out. Masked off the clear bit then put two coats of nightshade on then took the tape off and put on a third coat over the whole lot.

Looks good and turned out the perfect shade and reverse lights are still useful too. Only thing is it's not as glossy as I would of liked.
