you have to remove the fusebox inner part, lift it out as best you can.

locate the fuel pump relay, it will have 2 bigger wires, and 2 smaller ones, of the 2 smaller ones one is the earth and the other is the 12v signal wire. I cant remember the coulur but a simple test with a test light will show you which one it is.

Trace that wire back as far as you can, you will only get about 2 inches max from memory, snip it off and splice another wire into the join and then solder it back to the other end of the wire, the original wire is now reconnected and you have the spliced wire to use as the signal wire for the new relay which you will install for the new pump.

Run a new wire (4mm) from the 12v post in the fuse box to use as the primary power supply of the new relay, the same 4mm wire runs out to the pump from the relay, the wire you spliced is the signal wire and the last wire is an earth. That is the relay end taken care of.

Run the power wire down to the pump, fit a short earth wire from the pump to the body of the surgetank and you should be in business.

THE PINK WIRE

You'll need to run a new relay also, but Lee has it all covered with the above post :crybaby:
