Hey everyone,

I'm wanting to run the T on a track, just to have some fun, and do something I've never done before.

But I have no idea where to go! Does anyone know when and where I can drive my street XR6t on a track?

And also, what license do I need to do this?

Any help would be great!

Thanks everyone.

I checked out the Queensland raceway website, and there are a number of events for amateur racing.

Will be awesome to get out there and see what the beast can do. Need some swaybars though, driving through the twistys near home, the car is like a boat.

My old EA fairmont handled better.

The XR6 and XR8 Club of Qld had a track day at Lakeside yesterday. Wow got to say the old girl still has some life in her yet. Thank god the do-gooders that wanted Lakeside shut forever didn't get their way. After doing track days at both Morgan Park (Warwick Qld) and at QR I can honestly say that for the sheer fun of it Lakeside is King. I was surprised at how fast it is although you have to drive within your limits because there is not a lot of run off and plenty of hard objects to contact if you get it wrong.

If you get a chance to take your car onto Lakeside grab it with both hands as you wont be sorry.
