just get a line level convertor such as the rockford, and replace the front and rears or fronts and a sub.

youll need to run new speaker wires for the amps but that's easy, just takes time.

run some power wires and pick up a remote wire off the ciggarette lighter/phone aux.

it isnt any different to doing the BA/BF's.

Though a processor that does LOC, EQ, time delay etc would be better, depending on your budget and what kinda sound your looking for.

Hi Guys,

Well the speaker & AMP upgrade is done and it sounds fantastic. I now have no distortion and have my BASE back. Here are a few pics of the FG rear & A pillar splits and the pioneer AMP under the passenger seat. As you can see the speakers are all 28W. The factory AMP still controls the SUB and now the sub seems to work a lot better than it did. I'm a little happy Vegemite now.

Cheers,

Greg

So they splits and 2 ways MTX's you put in were a direct swap for the stock FG units? Does the stock stereo have RCA outs for the new pioneer amp you put in?

Hi INASNT,

I wouldn't have a clue....this is why I paid strathfield to do the install. He did say the front speakers didn't survive. You will have to ask someone in the know.

Good Luck.

at home.

I have one here on the work laptop, was posted on another thread but I guess I can post it here too.

havnt done the vinyl yet, but the carpet is growing on me so may option out.. vinyl is more for ricers imo

though I might put perspex between the amp and processor with alpiune logo in perspex.

sounds mint, though needs some more tuning till I fasten the cluster panel in properly.

I also removed the factory sub, I ordered carpet peice from the Base Model Audio so it is flat.

I will post the rest of the pics on Friday, as I am getting the whole install pics from the installer, showing car stripped and dynamatted etc etc. 70 sq feet of dynamat :spoton:
