Took the T for a drive last week and couldn't believe what happened!

Driving up a straight stretch of road, I put the foot down and it dropped back to second, climbing to around 5000rpm, past that point it seemed to be limited by something and wouldn't push any further (I wont even try to overtake). At that same time I look in the rear vision mirror to see a huge cloud of smoke/exhaust out the back. I done this again in performance mode with the same results.

The car is fine at normal driving speeds/gear changes.

I thought it may have been the fuel so I reprorammed it to the 95Oct Tune with the same outcome again

Car has been 'mildly' tuned by Elite!

Could it possibly be the Catalytic Converter?
