With that sort of HP, you'd be stomping on the brakes. That MPH is pretty damn good. Are you keen to get the auto into the 10's first, or the beast? It's a big ask from a manual, but yours is the one that can do it.What accident last week? Auto will run 10 first. In my 3rd run I launched much harder and did a 1.90 60', and my clutch would not hold 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears, so I may need a "strip clutch" for Wednesday nights.Just like the auto you practice then you improve and your times can suddenly drop. The auto is just so much easier. There was a long running thread last Wednesday about the 2 guys with xr6 turbos who left wsid and alledgedly had a race on the M7 and smashed their cars. It was in the papers and evening nws.Brian

If 10sec was the holy grail then slicks and nos would probably be used.I'll be running my Sti soon as well, so whatever car is available will get a run. Not too fussed which.Even my son wants to bring his Evo8 MR next week to join in the fun.Brianmaybe an eboost would be good brian so you could run less boost in the lower gears and then pile it on once you are movingUsually with a big turbo in a manual you can struggle to get max boost in first. It should also be noted that some of the mid range boost has been taken out until I get used to the car again, so under 4000 rpm it is docile and easy to drive; I think it doesn't reach 400rwkw until about 4300 rpm atm; it's when you get that power before 4000 it is a real handful to drive.I just need some practice, especially with shift change action & speed, and shift rpm, before deciding what changes to make.thanksBrian

I didn't get any decent video with sound, so I'm not gonna post up, we'll have to take a proper video camera for that!Congrats to the CV boys getting into the 10's with both the Orange Crusher and another Customer car. Also JP300 ran 11.70's on street 19's - good effort! In regards to the F6 with the Police, if it was Fever in colour - that's a Hwy PatrolActually Pat, I rang the boys at Tunehouse and requested an emergency onsite WSID service. Tony and George replaced the broken clamp and the second run I managed a 11.6@122MPH but this time the car was surging/starving, fuel was running low. I filled the car up at the local Shell Vpower (95) and ran a 11.1@124MPH 1.76 60' !! 19" Maxis@40psi.The car is now setup with a fantastic street tune and setup ... Thanks to Jim and the team at Tunehouse.
