$155,000.00 for something that is 3 tenths quiker than an F6 over the quater??? a bog stocker F6 with only some 275 Potenza's like those HSV jobbies would surely be quicker with no other performance mods whatsoever.... just look at the rolling acceleration figures... where traction issues from the under-tyred F6 don't come into play, the F6 is FOUR TENTHS OF A SECOND quicker from 80-120 km/hour; HSV W427 80-120 3.1 seconds FPV F6 80-120 2.7 seconds.

It's funny watching people bag the F6 and say that their Clubby is better, quicker. Even their uber commy that u could buy a house for isn't REALLY faster if you took traction issues (easily fixed with fatter rubber) out of the picture. Then factor in how easy you can mod the F6, with Simon from XFT alreddy getting close to 340rwkw from just a cat/dump/tune on his own with FA km's.

Even Wheels says that the ordinary person couldn’t tell between the performance of a W427 and an F6.

Kael, you really are looking at this the wrong way.

I paid $35,990 (inc premium sound ) for my XR6T brand new. If I spend 30-35K on it (give the F6 falls in the mid 60's doesnt it?) it would go, stop and handle better than an F6 but its still not an F6 is it.

No Ford or Expensive Daewoo is actually worth 150K (esp when u can buy a 35R for similiar money) BUT the guys who can afford these grew up with posters of VK's, Torana's and Brocky on their walls. They love that badge and they dream owning something that might come close to that one day.

Fast forward 20 years and that day has arrived. They have cash in the bank, no mortgage, grown up kids. They dont care if a Ford is "better", they dont care about dyno figures, about race tracks or anything else. They care about living out their dreams. This is the "best" that Expensive Daewoo have made, its something that will now feature on walls of young Expensive Daewoo fans, its a limited edition and they want it

I grew up with posters of E series GT's, Ferrari F40's and the Diablo. If I won lotto, I'd buy an F40 before anything. Why, because I didnt grow up dreaming of hitting random European back roads in an Enzo.

If you dont understand that, you probably never will.

Yeh M8 no sh*t I understand that, It is absolutely true, but if you have read any motoring publications, the 427 is being touted for it's performance and 0-100 & 1/4 mile figures, not that it is the product of a million boys sheet spoilers.

I'd suggest you understand that rather than pouncing on the "f@ck Kael" bandwagon every time you see me say M8 instead of Mate or laugh at the "awe - inspiring" W427 performance figures which I have pointed out are nothing to prance about.
