I have modified the MYSQL server to allow for more use of the memory in the server, unfortunately my laptop battery is flat and i am doing this remotely. Please post in here if they are any issues with timeouts etc and i will look into it when i get home at about 7pm tonight.

Cheers

No time-outs here, but a hell of a lot of lag when loading pages. They always get there, just takes 30-60 secs.

This looks to me to be the initial installment of some great work over a long period of time, with adjustments to come as we learn the new site and feedback rolls in. The desing layout having the similar charatersistics of the previous version benefits all of us, and probably more so those of us who have been on here for a few years now. I know I would hate to have to learn how to use the site all over again but only after a lil while of searching its as easy as the old site.

Some serious credit is due here to some outstandning work.

In relation to the colour scheme, could some adjustment of brightness and contrast be made individually on your own monitors to suit individual needs???

Thanks for the change and all the effort that has gone into modernising this great website.

I.B.
