I am a p-plater, I'm 20yo and have a 315rwkw xr6t and have had it for over a year without a single incident (but a couple of fines). now what these guys did was wrong and I don't condone street racing, however I have done the same in the past and won't say that I am any better than them. they are lucky to be alive and as far as I'm concerned that is the most important thing. cars can be replaced, lives cannot. my 2 cents... Posted 24/07/08 06:28 AM Share Posted 24/07/08 06:28 AM When I saw the report just as I woke up from bed about the rapid color car with the black rims and big cooler with exhaust I immediately thought of rapid. .... looking at the wreck though its easy to see its not his.just a thought on the media hype about street racing, we dont know all the facts and they could have simply been doing 100km/h on that road when the ute clippped the sedan to sent it flying onto its roof. We dont know. I saw another report a few weeks back about street racing and when you looked at the cars it was a bloody Volvo 240 with red P's and a excel. The media just use dramatic words and catchphrases to draw people into panic and hysteria. People do crash at the legal speed limit and looks just as bad as when people doing 30k's over the limit

It just happened to go sour for these guy's.One thing that is good to see is that these car's are built well enough that a person can walk away after something like that.
