Guest Guests Posted 24/07/08 03:54 AM Share Posted 24/07/08 03:54 AM Everyone on here bagging these poor blokes needs to step back & take a look at themselves. It was by all means a silly thing to do but I would bet my balls that 99% of forum members have had a street race at one stage in there life and every one has the potential to be fatal!Young guys with high performance cars is and always will be a problem but there is heaps of older drivers out there that do exactly what is being criticised here. You need to ask yourself why you own a car that is quick from factory, then has been modded to go even quicker? Did you only increase performance for track days/drags or do you give it the occasional squirt on the open road as well??I don't know anyone involved in this but I am a 23 year old with a T & I have to hear this rubbish all the time. People in general are the problem behind the wheel of high powered cars, not just 'young idiots'.My 2 cents...

I am also rebuilding the electrical cabinet that got smashed up. Lucky no one was seriously hurt.Sorry, went out and had a look at the bar. It is the rear one. The key is picking the time and place. And a young guy with a decent head screwed onto his shoulders is perfectly capable of making the distinction between a bit of lighthearted hooning and reckless endangerment of human life.Sure it always has the potential to end in disaster but so does trundling to work in a Expensive Daewoo barina. You just have to be able to assess the risks and adjust your behavior accordingly.Young drivers in hot cars aren't what kills people. Dumb drivers kill people, regardless of their age and the vehicle they're driving.
