Just go with whatever you plan on running in it....no point putting something special in there just for the tune.

I keep getting told not to use shell. The fuel is not filtered well or something. Apparently they did some tests and I think bp was top with caltex and shell was one of the worste. Just what I have been told.

I use Shell V over the BP ultimate for two reasons.

Its usually cheaper ( like that matters when you are looking at $100+ a fill either way) and I also read a thread by Paul from Elite Automotive in which he stated that it was the better quality of the two in QLD only.

I say in QLD only as apparently that is the reverse in the southern states.

I'm no expert but I will take Pauls word for it! He tunes lots of cars so he should have a bit of an idea I reckon.

Go the shell or BP over Caltex in QLD.

I took my car to Paul (Elite) with a with a fresh tank of Caltex 98 (I am convinced it was 95 octane) and the best they could get was around 310 rwkw. Went back 2 weeks later with a fresh tank of Shell 98 and and the final result was 362 rwkw.
