Well I put a T on one of the hoists in our service dept today, took a look at the new exhaust system and the rear end including the dreaded diff bush.

Mods - I couldn't figure out the best thread to put this in, feel free to merge wherever you deem appropriate!

Yes the diff bush is generally a matter of when it will go rather than if it will go. These ones look the same as the Updated BF bush, which seemed to last a bit longer than the original ones.

No dramas for getting the pics, I figure some people may be interested

Progressively getting better mate, its a very tough market at the moment with trade ins taking a big hit (regardless of make) and fuel prices scaring people away from larger cars.

For example, the XT Falcon is really no longer a "retail" vehicle, we deliver plenty of them to fleet customers via leasing companies etc. Many many people - alot of the forum members in fact - are going to Novated leases or company cars. On the retail sales side of things we are really only selling the high end stuff in Falcon product ie XR6T, XR8 G6E/T and FPV. I'm personally yet to sell an XT or G6.

All that said we are starting to gain some momentum in sales, with more FG's on the road the public awareness increases and we get more enquiry. Plus the reviews have been great and anyone that drives the FG can see how well Ford has done with it (Go and drive an FG XT falcon and see what I mean)

Hopefully we can get these things out there and people realise its not as expensive to own a Falcon as everyone thinks it is!

yeah the exhaust is mostly a single 3" now, it only splits where it goes up near the tailshaft due to the lack of free space, I also noticed that the are less press bends in the exhaust, looks a bit more like mandrels
