OK guys I have mentioned in another thread that I have twisted the tail shaft , blown out the center bearing and the CV on the back of the tail shaft in my A6 typhoon. I was wondering if any one out there knows of a stronger option out there for these cars???

any driveshaft engineering shop can make one for you, look in your local phonebook and there will be probably 3 or 4 mobs doing driveshafts

Let me know how much $$$ for an upgraded driveshaft for I'd best replace mine with a stronger item before this happens to me!

I,d rather the weakest link being the tail shaft. easy to get too, u can do it yourself. and its probally cheaper than a gearbox or diff, or cv,s. good luck. mine did the same thing as yours. by the way. but at the back. and lets just say ,I was,nt the driver. and it was from the edit to get of the line at boost.

Is it just me or does that mob seem cheap? I haven't really looked into what drive shafts cost before, but that seems pretty reasonable for a custom tail-shaft!
