Saw a base model FG ute on the road this morning and it was the ugliest thing on 4 wheels that I have seen in a long time

..........yet to see an XR ute on the road.

this is another of my trucks at Power Ford . Its only a cab chassis but I dont think they look that bad, after all it's just a work horse.

Dont mind the colour "sensation" either. Waiting there for trundle tray and then putting our custom back on to the tray. My guy who will be driving it is wrapped as this has cruise control std. and 5 speed auto which should make for better economy on the highways as we travel a bit.

cheers, Geoff

Healey,

Standard price $2280.00 (fitted) Power Ford are getting it fitted through Blueys and said I probablywill get a bit of a discount with them. So I guess it will be around $2100. I have already got one on my current ute and works well and is more secure than soft top especially when you are carrying all the work power tools, welders etc.

Cheers , Geoff

I still think the rear track should be a lot wider. Ford have made the tray wider and pumped out the guards but left the rear track too narrow.
