Did a few tests just to make sure for my own piece of mind.Is all grip and go forward , not sideways . Im talking about real world wet and windy road conditions, the low revs boost power curve amazing Is Chalk and Cheese from the BA8 , less revs , more traction and go with no effort , no bounce , no skittish behaviour .Very Relaxing stuff Cheers Rick

Is more than just a good thing, the styling starting to grow on me , and will only get better over time as I get more used to it , But its the way it drives and handles straight outta the box that will blow you away mate Its all about the Vibe, lol , Drive, As a bit of a oldy lol, at 45 and hard core V8 man I always thought turbo's were P-Plater wa*ker material , 4cyl, Big Noise ,Bad Looks in Styling lol , all Look at Me stuff with only Hp figures and drag stip times relevant, Isnt really like that at all, Is just like having a Big Hand behind your seat pushing you forward at all times, any revs, any speed , effortlessly , just a nice whistle sound , and its all over , before it ever started , lol , with no effort involved. that's the joke for me on them . Im the only one laughing at the end of it , and only takes seconds if that, to put them in their place, lol, before the next set of lights. They dont try to monster you twice, just sit behind , lol, Dheads and you dont even have to try to blow them off , only half throttle required unless he 's on drugs and doesnt get it 1st or 2nd time around And im just cruising along on my daily drive , lol, lots of Dheads want to shape you up for a run just to try to push you .Cool mate you won, its a 40 zone , bloody kids , lol , got no idea about anything, at least I it didnt come with a Scorpion decal on the bonnet and no I dont put my fog lights on , lol Is heaps of real world fun in a unreal world

When is Ford going to make these clowns responsible for all their piss poor planning and decision making. A clean out should be in order but don't count on it. I have owned it for about 4 weeks and can't stay out of it!! It's a 6 speed manual, Luxury Pack (19"s, Technology Pack etc) and is the first turbo'ed car I have owned. I am very impressed with the power delivery and surge that comes on from almost nowhere! I have put up 1300kms already and hanging to get 1500kms to really open it up and see how it goes. I know the mod bug will bite and looking at a custom tune and other minor mods just to up the power (this will be done after 1st service).I am an old school V8 man having owned, built and modified many old classic Holdens (2 door HQ Monaro, HJ GTS Monaro, VK Calais 5lt, and a Genuine LX SS Torana Hatchback 5.0Lt). This is the second Ford I have owned (currently have an immaculate ED Fairmont which Is my daily driver). I have driven it around Australia and has clocked up 600,000kms and has been so reliable. I live in Brisbane and headed down to Southport Spit today for a cruise and found it weird watching everyone staring as I drove past! I am very happy with my decision so far and if it turns out to be reliable as my old Fairmont I will be very impressed!Happy driving everyone and I will put some more pics up!!CheersTim Brisbane Qld Edited 07/09/08 09:14 AM by Boog72
