hey guys,

a few of my mates with jap turbo's use intercooler water spray automated in purges when revs go past 2500 rpm, thus cooling the intercooler big time while getting a work out.

they use it on the track pretty much,

does anyone with ford turbos' use this?

I thought it would be a good idea that's all,

I have bought some parts to do this but mine would just work off a switch. Not sure when I will install it though. Just make sure you turn it off when your at the drags. If you get caught squirting water on the track you will be in the sh*t

Ive got 1 in my car. Was part of a package apparently when my car had a chiptorque xede processor installed. Mine works off boost pressure. Hit 3psi and it squirts the cooler from 3 jets currently ducted tape to bumper. Can be adjusted by pressure valve to lower and higher boosst.

I think its a waste of time and I am ripping mine out when I install my rapid cooler. The motor for the pump is noisey when it runs out of water, which is often. which basically means a weekly opening of the bonnet to refill...

Nothing wrong with regularly sticking ya head under the bonnet. Good time to check over things. I do it all the time. Just watch out ya dont break your bonnet release lever.
