What to check and how often? As far as mods go, it has APS Phase I only. Thanks

Anyway you should have checked your car over just prior to it running out of warranty as anything you find now is your problem to fix. A thorough inspection should be done just before the warrnty runs out so thay you can claim any issues during the warranty period not after it has expired.I.B. My question is what to do keep it in good shape. If you ask mechanics, they will tell you everything to rip you off. I just wanted to get good honest info. I would also change the diff oil at 50k or something. Auto box oil (not sure about frequency). And as long as the car feels OK and you don't hear any strange sounds you should be good. Might be worth giving a mechanic $50 a year to go through the car and tighten everything up, especially under the car.I don't believe in mechanics for regular servicing as all they do is change oil and filter anyway so I just do everything myself. I took mine to ford for service etc thinking they would do a good job but they snapped a peice and tried supergluing it. Also I took it to a family friend mechanic like 6mths later if that and he said they didnt even change the gearbox fluid or anything and now my gearbox is dodgy, snappes out of 2nd all the time. Never will I go to ford again.
