I would try it, but I'm not keen on doing things that I have no idea about! lol Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/47664-help-please/#findComment-706353 Share on other sites

It’s not that difficult but if you’re not mechanically minded and more importantly don't have the correct tools, it will be a pain the backside. Also be aware, that no matter how much they tell you it is “bolt on kit” THEY NEVER ARE – especially the ebay ones. I can almost guarantee that it will not bolt straight in without cutting the front bar, or support and you most likely have to bend the air-conditioner lines out of the way too. Not something you should tackle if you have no idea what you’re doing. Good luck with it anyway! Guest Guests Posted 16/07/08 06:37 AM Share Posted 16/07/08 06:37 AM You're best bet is to find a local Performance shop that deals with XR6T's & pay ~$80 to have it fitted. Good luck with it mate Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/47664-help-please/#findComment-706370 Share on other sites

It will tell you how to remove the front bar. It's really easy I just did mine last w/e. The intercooler isn't that hard to remove. If your new one doesn't fit exactly then just get some bits made up. I got two pieces of piping made for mine and it only cost me $45 from nissan welding at yamanto.
