ferlauto87 Member 32 Member For: 16y 7m 22d Gender: Male Location: Country VIC Posted 15/07/08 09:20 PM Share Posted 15/07/08 09:20 PM clutch is starting to slip a bit in the xr6t, before a give it more power im going to replace it, thinking of running the strongiest clutch available from either Daiken or Exedy, one of the two, part number FMK.7442 HDCB, got the specs and are 639hp and 699Ft Ibs at the flywheel, im aiming for 300kw at the wheels, going by the specs it should be right.If anyone knows anymore about them or has one let me know, can get one cheap (know a bloke who used to work for the supplier and can get them at cost price for $625 +GST complete with CSC) but dont want it to be a bad choice, but the price is right . I have one in mine with over 300rwkw and it handles it easily, but it's a real pig on the street. Also the inner city carparks where you have to reverse in and on a slight incline,,well forget that as well cos you can't slip the ceramic button clutch and get away with it.Better off with an organic IF you use it in the city and as a daily driver.I'm looking for someone right now to fit a MWA option 3. Option 3 drives better than stock from what I've read, so maybe ACE option 4 won't be near as bad relative to every other ceramic clutch on the market.
