hey mate I got a fg t ute and its got it all u have to do is chuck it in first holding clutch in foot on accelerator and it stops at 3500rpm , that's launch control. Ive tried it a couple of times the first was a bit of a worry lol but if u let the clutch out smoothly its perfect. All I can say its a quick start from the line.

oh ok, nice then. I was thinking it might be something like that but last night out on my adventures I tried sitting in 1st with clutch in and it went way over the 3500, just like normal revving. does dsc have to be on, maybe I didnt have it on.

Generally dsc should be on when using it, make sure you are at a complete stop, then push the clutch all the way down, accelerator to the floor and it should hit a limiter at around 3500, some go to 3800 on the bounce.

If it doesn't do this mate, get it in to a dealer and check it out...

Could this be retrofitted to BF f6's, I can't launch to save myself....

yeah I saw a ba/bf on youtube. just search for xr6 launch control and you will come across it, the guy has also set it up for flat shifting which looks pretty cool :D wish I could do that.

I was out testing the launching tonight and its pretty good. I just don't think I can do it properly yet because the rear keeps getting sideways when taking off and im not sure that's how it goes. ill keep practicing.

Another quality NZ company now based out of Aussie... :icon_ford:

So do these work with the F6/XR6T, do they provide a wiring diagram? (so much for Kiwis knowing what NZ companies are up to...)

all you need is one of those crank trigger modulator boxes to get a spark signal (same as if you want to fit an after market taco).

the gizzmo setup has six imputs and outputs to fit in between the computer and the coil packs miss fireing the cylenders with the throttle open to make boost with the clutch in at your preset launch setting.

look at this other gizzmo product. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFi7zfMWE1M
