The first time I tried I had the dsc on, I dumped the clutch and it just bogged down made a few horrible noises then took off. Next time I tried without the dsc and I was fully sideways with a cloud of smoke behind smoke me which was great fun! Then I tried it easing the clutch out and also got those strange smell happening. I need to practise a bit to get full use out of it, and like the previous poster I havent had a manual car in over 10 years. I am loving having the manual though and although I was unsure when I ordered it I am wrapped I made the decision to go with it.! Sounds like the diff cradle is gonna smash into a hundred pieces! Initially I thought it was the quality of the road but tried it in a few places now with the same result. So I got a fault somewhere there or a decent set of polyurethane bushes will sort it out. Either way I'll be getting the dealer to look at it during the 3000km checkup? Ive tried it a couple of times the first was a bit of a worry lol but if u let the clutch out smoothly its perfect. All I can say its a quick start from the line.
