So has any of the lucky people that have got there FGs (Manual of course) played with the launch control yet? Have seen the vid on youtube just wondeing what those they have tried it think of it.

Its great, but you can't just step off the clutch, you have to modulate it to get off the line quickly. Its much quicker than the BA/BFs off the line though...

It races off the line (just like Senna has said), although don't just step off the clutch otherise all you see is blue smoke in your rear vision mirror.

It also leaves your stomach behind just like a roller coaster.

I've tried it twice so far.

First time I pretty much just dumped the clutch. It bogged, surged forward a bit them hammered away. Bit like being chewed and then spat out. Not very successful.

The second time I rode the clutch a bit till I got going. I think I rode it for too long though because there was this strange smell that all of a sudden appeared :thumbsup:

Clutch is still intact and good but need some more practice before I reckon I'll see the full effect of it.

It's my first manual car in 12 years and I'm loving it. Really good transmission too.
