We only get one payment annually if in credit which tends to be minimal as heating throughout winter burns through the credits you build up during summer. We have two water pumps that run throughout the day (one for the pool and the other to maintain water delivery and pressure to the house). It takes more electricity to manufacture solar panels than what they produce in a life time. Power companies are encouraging solar panels as it helps keeps power running through the lines.
