I would hope its not a user error, considering I manage enterprise network infrastructures...

iPhone is sh*t, pure and simple... good in theory but I dont like my mobile being the same size as a brick!

Why is it sh*t? give good reasons. Brick sized phone? It isn't that big at all.. unless your house uses very small bricks :P

The phone is not that heavy (perhaps a gym session is in order?) and the dimensions while larger than your average phone (although depth is about the same) is not that big a problem unless you've got tiny pockets.

The phone works, is it a great phone? no. But it is a very capable and good phone considering it is only the second generation. The screen is much better for emails/etc and once you get the hang of the touchscreen keyboard (which is very simple) doing up emails/etc is a breeze.

Ive already got a touch screen mobile of my own, so its nothing new to me.

Its sh*t, as im constantly on the move, up and down, crawling around places. I dont want to worry about dropping the brick on my delicate toes and having to take a few days off work :buttrock:

It's sh*t because you clowns jump on the hype bandwagon and have a spank over a bit of electricery.... It's sh*t coz I dont need an iPod with a phone in it... Its sh*t because it doesnt interface with the FG Bluetooth... Its sh*t because I freakin dont have to be a sheep like you and cant develop my own opinion on it.

Follow the heard...

Tab, windows is cool. :stirthepot:

Stay away from my enterprise network infrastructure please. No blokes who can't handle a man-sized phone permitted.

that's ok, I dont support Workgroups, so we will never cross paths.

I got mine given to me for free and I avoid all the hype. I didnt even own a mp3 player before this phone so I just see it as an ipod I can ring people from. I dont use bluetooth anywhere so I dont care. I dont care about the hype it is a capable phone and im content using it nothing to do with having to have 1. My opinion is my own and not that of the heard, were I 1 I'd bother to upgrade to the 3G aussie version which I cant justify.

latest APC magazie has a write up blackberry versus I phone.

I read it and I think I will stick with my O2 Atome exec, it rocks

Did you know in the write up that the iphone doesn't use the new band that vosaphone, telstra etc are going to which means you will have a phone using old technology and paid to much for it .... LOL... suckers :leghump:

seriously though.....

This so called pioneering technology is lacking some of the most basic of functions.

MMS etc.. Some of these functions have been in existance for the past 10 yrs....

Well said. The bandwagon is exactly why I made my earlier 'Sucker Product' comments. What we've established here is thet the iPhone is lacking in functionality compared with other products already on the market, and what it does do is nothing new. All it has that is different is a trick interface, and even that is similar to the latest Samsung and Nokia's I was shown last week in Singapore. So, taking that all into consideration, basically all of the hype comes down to Apple's brilliant marketing sucesfully creating a trend.

Another thing I've noticed, why is it, that just because it's an Apple product, if you say you don't like it, you're immediatly labeled an 'Apple Hater'? What the!. Does that mean I'm also a PC hater because I have an iPod?
