id like to lower the sedan alittle just to help the handling aspect & of coarse for the asthetic factor. I dont want to go to low because the roads up here are crap & I do drive it daily. has anyone one done this without dropping it on its guts & how has it affected ride & looks. pics would be nice if possible. I like the sleeper look.

I put mine on king springs with SL on the front and SSL on the rear on the stock 17s sits really nice pretty much in line with the top of the tyre on the rear and just above on the front, don't have any pics and I have different rims on now, but I'm sure someone on here will... handles and drive so much better imo, you feel the bumps, but in a feeling the road rather than annoying kind of way.

was thinking just changin springs & leaving factory shocks. I dont really know much on this side of things all the research & work ive done has been with go fast bits but now im planning to do shows with our club id like it to look the part as well but not over the top. it needs something to help the handling because with big sweeping corners it feels a little uneasy. will also be looking into whiteline swaybars as well. roads are bad up here (really bad) & I do alittle bit of highway driving so I cant go over the top.

g,day

the sl/ssl package is prob the way to go and you could get away quite easily without doing your shocks my ute has sl on the front and set to my pref on the back its quite driveable and only a few speedhumps give me grief wich can usualy be avoided and once you lower it you start picking your route around town a little more carefull and you get used to parking etc too

here is a pic hope its helpfull

cheers

also

if it is of any help

I have since fitted 20" rims to the ute and they went on no probs with no guard rolling required so if your going to upgrade rim size you should be sweet

looks sweet. I got a quote yesterday & I was told about $700 fitted all round with the kings but it will only drop it around 10mm maybe. was abit gobsmacked so I might wait & do it properly later down the track. got the itch to spend some money on it (only been about 2wks) so I bought some overdue personalised plates. my first pieces of show on the car, its all been go til now. feel guilty.

Yeah that's expensive. I bought a set of brand new king springs off ebay for $280 incl. postage. $100 to fit.

And as for 10mm lower... what a load of crap!

SSL will probably see your T lower by about 50mm
