Went to Bris and Melb for the week and got to drive my producers non edited R Spec 289 and although I know it isn't the stock R Spec felt like an ill handling sloth.

I have to say between standard Phoon and my edited one with its other mods as far as handling and power goes it was like chalk and cheese, or comparing an XR6 NA with a T.

So are the mods worth it DAMN RIGHT they are, confirmed to me that all the time and money spent is well worth it :tonguepoke:

I am not suprised do as your car has 50% more power or 120+rwkw as well as the suspension.

Makes you appreciate the cost and effort more...

what a *beep*.

I am still enjoying the mods to my r spec......there are a few niggles to sort (just squeaks, rattles, thumps etc - the usual stuff) however it is a mile different than stock...the power is one thing, but the handling is SO much better.

I used to have an edited SS GEN3 and I compared it to a stock Typhoon. I thought the SS was better up top down low and everywhere else.

I just dont beleive it when they say all the torque is there from 1900rpm, more like 3000rpm.

But my modified T makes the Gen3 feel slow in comparison

Who would have thought??

Yeah I know I stated the obvious. But when you do a drive comparo it becomes just how obviously underpowered and under handling Ford and FPV left these things

Lol yes I totally agree.. but seeing as we are stating the obvious here, Ford are catering for the average person who actually cares somewhat about fuel economy, not to mention the most important reason, Ford actually have to warrant these things for 3 years /100000km!
