Weird thing about the eagers groups is that one of the owners has his fingers and toes in so many Ford dealerships its not funny, not just Australia but also the states. You would have thought they would have had it cracked by now.

Trent, I use BPS in Cleveland. Miles out of my way but they seem to be good guys and were really good at my 15k service so will go back.

The new service centre at Metro is crap and actually signed as Expensive Daewoo service. Somehow they have managed to squeeze the whole service reception into what was HSV's customer lounge. Geez I whinge a lot lol :dontknow:

Another reason to keep away from Metro...haven't been to their new hangout but it would certainly make you feel all dirty.

So Should I just go buy some new discs then Karl?( I shall swing past Boral tomorrow :P )

Wish I went to BPS now or Elite...and read a book for 8 hours..Over taking it to Metro....Yes I know Trent they are the same dealership..Since they moved to Newstead it was easier to go Southside for me..Thinking the bigger workshop there would give better service..What was I thinking

The reason why I purchased at Metro was because of the location in the Valley and I loved how big the dealership was.(In hindsight I wish I went to Bryan Byrt). Now they sold out there real estate for 22 storey apartment block and got squished in down the road...Which none of the staff are happy about.

Sales at Metro are great, heaps helpful and if I ever need something I go through them and usually I get it. For instance my gear lever, a sales bloke phoned and asked how was I and how was the ute, so I explained about the shifter and the wait for such a basic part, 20mins later I get a call from service to say it has arrived. Im betting there is a new car on the yard missing its shifter.

But the guys you have to deal with in service are always miserable, talk to you like your an idiot and just dont care and never follow up. Apart from the receptionist May, she is awesome, remembers me by name and by car everytime, if only they were all like that.

Which is not a bad thing....looking at buying off the plan from that new development :spit:

But yeah their size was a good thing, pretty bloody efficient compared to any other dealership I've been to, but I guess good things never last :turboboink:

It's convenient dropping the car off in the morning and getting dropped-off and picked-up in the city - but might just have to take a day off when required and spend quality time with Pauly down at Archerfield.
