Mum just called water nearlly over the wall proper. Old flood marker on spillway torn off. Nearlly all bottom row of cabins are under.

Why is it on the news I keep seeing cars parked in flooding areas.. I reckon half the owners are thinking 'yes!! Insurance layout!!' Then push the bloody thing into the water..

Know of a few people that have 'accidentally' left their cars on northy street when king tides are around. One poor unfortunate bloke had his car removed by a good samaritan towie.

What's the mogerah wall made of? Can it be over-topped?

Moogerah wall full concrete Tab - no rock pitching. The spillway isn't overly wide so it will be coping load on the top 5 meters that has never got since built.

Just found this on SunWater's site concerning the wall:

havent had power since last night, been at mums tonight just so we can cook dinner. The road from my house to mums is closed cause of a tree falling over it bringing down powerlines
