Well I still have a dead cable that does nothing for my ipod integration, on the bright side only 2 more months until they may possibly fix it :huh: Pretty disappointing effort from ford really. Anyway if you go to the specification and options page on the ford site, go down to audio and communication section, where it says ipod there is a little number 23, if you hold the mouse over it it tells you what ipod models are compatible.

I checked out that link. Mine is a 2nd Gen Nano 4Gb and it's on the list of supported ipods.

HOWEVER - the G6ET I drove on the weekend whilst it played and functioned. The ICC reported it as NOT SUPPORTED the whole time. Yes - I have the latest firmware...

Seems there's a difference between compatible and fully functional.

Wont worry me, time for a bigger better one just for the G6ET! :thumbsup:

No problems with ipod classics apart from once the first time we were playing around with it and the ipod locked up - had to be reset. apart from that works and sounds great.

Just been on the Ford website. states that ipod compatible models are:

Compatible iPod models: iPod nano 3rd generation (video) 4GB, 8GB: iPod classic 80GB, 160GB: iPod touch 8GB, 16GB: iPod nano 2nd generation (aluminium) 2GB, 4GB, 8GB: iPod 30GB, 60GB, 80GB"
