Yep I have the bluetooth and it works fine, the ipod cable is there but does nothing when plugged in, not even charge the ipod. Dealer agrees with me that software must be available and has been trying to get answers from ford aswell but the people at the customer care centre have no idea what they are talking about and im told from the dealer and the customer care centre there is no number you can ring to speak to anyone about technical information such as software etc, which I find a bit bewildering. If they think im going away they are mistaken, I want this sorted out. Where it all went wrong was originally I ordered an automatic xr6t then changed the order to manual, when the new order was generated the fleet company forgot to add the tech pack onto the order. Its all been a battle to get to the point where I was allowed to get it fitted from the dealer afterwards and now it doesnt work arrggggggg. Oh well, still gotta be grateful to get such a great car from the company.

I have got the tech pack on my turbo and it works great.

The integration on the ICC is awesome.

If your ipod is on the ford listing then you should be able to select your ipod through the cd/aux button or from the steering wheel.

Once selected there is an ipod button on the screen that opens up the use of the centre wheel for selections of playlists, albums etc.

well in this case dags the ipod functionality is carried over to the ICC and you can browse though your Ipod folders as displayed on the ICC screen. The system will also charge your ipod, plus it sits in a small felt pouch in the centre console

Ive always got my ipod on me everywhere I go and holding 30 GIG of songs is pretty handy compared to probably 5 gig on a disc, let alone the fact I have a very nasty habit of destroying discs. I have always used my ipod but with a fm transmitter that plugs in the 12v socket, its a step up now having the jack next to the socket but like senna mentioned turning the whole car into one big ipod sounds like the perfect setup to me.........yippeee a 6 cylinder turbo ipod hahahah.

Just tried out the ipod connection on my new T.

Older ipod mini's connect and charge but don't show up on the ICC. so I just "stole" my son's 80GB classic model - that integrates well and the menu shows up on the ICC. Easy as

Might have to go and buy myself one now. I think he'll notice it missing soon and I don't think saying "nah sorry son. I haven't seen your ipod mate" is going to fool him for too long

I believe they do mate, just swing past a dealer and plug it in and check it out, just like the BA's the ICC will come on without the key

I've tried a few different iPods in mine and I've noticed that on some of them after a sync you need to have the iPOD actually running when you plug it into the car otherwise nothing happens.

Also noticed the iPOD gets itself in a knot if you power on the system without the key.
