Now I've seen lots of cars with this done and the finsih is glossy, what would I use to polish them up without taking the paint off? I've tried 2000grit paper but it didnt work too well. Would I be able to put a clear coat over them maybe? Any help would be choice.CheersGav

They were glossy. The more coats the darker they got. Light brightness was still good.
