My other car has two 12's, two 4 ch's, two pair of 7 by 10's and a pair of splits.... yadda yadda yadda....!I still want to use the space behind the seats, mainly behind the passenger seat. So was thinking something like the below pic but with just the one sub/box behind the drivers seat. ICC is modded as per your guide. Have Monochrome LCD in the ute with 6 disc. (prestige sound) running stock tweeters. Not worrying about upgrading ICC or running any media through it. Not sure how the stock tweeters will go being amplified? Would prefer the amps hidden, perhaps under the seats, not sure have to check for space. Dont really need heat generators near me!!!!Im running 4 of these Kenwood 5 by 7's, which only have a rated input power of 40whttp://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-KFC-C5780IE.../kfcc5780ie.htmI was intending on running this 4ch to drive the speakers, has 40w per channel output: http://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-KAC-M645-Ca...r-p/kacm645.htmWant to run one 12in, spotted this one, 350w input power: http://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-KFC-WPS1200...kfcwps1200f.htmThinking of running that sub with this Mono amp, 300w output.http://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-KAC-8104D-C...-p/kac8104d.htmI was thinking something like the below pic but with just one sub behind the drivers seat. groper Member 611 Member For: 18y 18d Posted 06/07/08 11:09 AM Share Posted 06/07/08 11:09 AM that install, looks like the back of the cab has been cut out to fit the sub enclosures outside and under the tray... its doable but I dont think you wanna cut massive holes in your cab do ya? groper Member 611 Member For: 18y 18d Posted 06/07/08 11:47 AM Share Posted 06/07/08 11:47 AM ok, it might look good, but does it sound good like that? for a sub to work well and sound good, they need a volume of air that is determined by an eqation that includes the specs of the driver. even with a low volume driver, id be suprised if those boxs had anywhere near enough volume to make those drivers efficient. With a proper enclosure, 1 driver could easily outperform 2.

Id do my best to knock up an MDF box of that size.

I had it in a center box enclosure from autobarn. I think I still have it if you want to have a look at it. it did the job & it look good with the sub poking its head head the console.
