Hey guys.

Recently I've been noticing a fair bit of noise in the back end of my ute.

It tends to creak when the car is accelerating and the cars weight is pushed back towards the rear.

I can make it creak more or less depending on how I take off at the lights.

It did it a little before I had the ute lowered but since then its progressively got worse.

I was thinking something might need a bit of lube. I had a quick spray of a few things the other day but didn't help.

What exactly needs to be lubed suspension wise?

Could it possibly be shocks?

What sort of bushes you running in your leafs?

The ones that came with the kings leafs package.

Just normal ones as far as I know.

Any ideas?

my sedan does this cos I have removed the rubbers either end of the spring. obviously utes are a different set up but not sure if there could be a similar issue there. rubbers worn or something

Geez...Guess im not alone lol.

When I had some new springs put in the front end I got the suspension guys to have a look under the car.

As far as they could tell all the bushes were fine.

I assumed it was the new leafs from when I got my ute lowered, so I got some Lithium grease and coated the crap out of the leafs/joints everything.

It went away for a bit, but now its back again.

When I got under the car I noticed the bush that sits in between the dif/leafs looks fairly worn considering it's 2 years old (especially on the drivers side)

It doesn't feel like anything bad, just sounds like something is a little dry and not lubed up.

Mine used to do it and Ford fixed it under warranty -

Chopped a small peice off the top of some rubber thingy in the rear suspension.

<-----Very Technical..LOL
