Just pulled the car apart today and have come across two problems. The first problem is that the sensor is on the left hand side and my cold piping is on the right hand side. What did you guys do to move the sensor?

My other problem is where to put the horns? There is no room left because the intercooler is in the way. Where did you guys mount the horn?

Mount the horns down on the panel that you've been cutting to clear the cai... just extend the wires.

On my IC kits I use a long vac hose that joins the sensor and runs over the radiator to a 9mm port on the cold piping.

Another option is tbuy a flange to mount the sensor to... you weld this to the cold side pipe, mount the sensor to it, and extend the wires accross ( the wires are in the loom on this side so you have the option to peel back the tape and find them and tap into them)

If you need the flange I cansnd one out to you, or use the extended vac hose method... I can email you some "how to" instructions for the vac extention mo if your stuck.

I also did a cooler instal lwith that cooler a few years ago so if you need pics let me know

Cheers

Chris

The kit I have has the flange already welded to the cold side pipe. But the wiring of the sensor goes towards the fuse box so doesn't go to the other side where the cold piping is. Was thinking of extending the wires if I really had to. Does it matter if you just use some vac hose? Like will it still work just as good? Thanks for the help

Same here BFHOON, just extend the wires and you will be sweet. Its pretty simple stuff mate there is plenty of wire to work with.

As for the horn..... well I cant remember where I put it haha

Hey Coley if its not too late could you take a pic of the horns with wires connected.. After I fitted my cooler I couldnt figure out which wires went where, I tried different combinations but they all didnt work..

with the horn I put them on the same bracket just on the other side, you have to bend the bracket a bit to make them fit but it will work

I have taken two pics of the horn. One is of the wires the other is where I relocated it to. Make sure you mount the bracket first before you try to see if it works. I tried the horn when it wasn't mounted (just sitting on the ground) and it hardly made a sound. But then once it was mounted it worked fine.
