I've noticed that the plastic mounting on the pipes to the left of the engine has melted and dripped onto the heat shield. This clip will need to be replaced by the dealership. There is some serious heat being generated under the bonnet.

OUCH! Surely there has to a problem if that occurs <_<

Seem’s mine was never fitted so it’s either something that has been picked up and done away with or somebody forgot to put it on, luckly by the look’s of thing’s. :fluffy:

like air, hot water rises so its closer to the temp sensor so that's why it may be reading higer after being stationary, also arnt turbo timers highly illegal (not sure if u care or not but I thought id mention it)

Checked mine this afternoon and the clip has melted off in exactly the same way as the photo above. Speaking to my dad their is a points bulletin out about this melting clip and he will be looked after by your dealership.
