In short, ignition on = headlights on. Putting the headlight stalk switch to any position does not effect it.My previous cars (BA/BAII's) used an additional loom under the steering wheel area near the fuses. This must be a standard ford bit of gear as it integrates well and came with an info card from Ford stating how the system works. On those cars, you'd fumble under the dash, finding a matchbox sized plastic casing wrapped in foam and open the cap at one end exposing a standard blade fuse and removing it. You could then leave the headlight stalk in the "AUTO" position and let the sensor determine when the headlights were/weren't needed.Fast forward to FG....can't find anything similar under the dash in the same area :(Manual does not indicates any of the fuses in the panel relate to this feature.Probably early days but hopefully someone comes up with a solution! What about in the ICC settings....there's adjustments in there for the auto lights.

Have you had a look in the engine bay fuses - could be something in/near there rather than under the dash

If you don't understand the problem or have anything useful to say, pipe down.It has a part number on the Ford website, so it must be a module rather than a setting (was thinking perhaps a WDS setting). For the BA one, someone posted the install instructions of the additional loom module. Hopefully someone else figures it out before I do!

The answer will show up eventually.Providing the thing doesn't break on me there isn't much I'll have to say.
