Relax andrew you are not going to have this problem, t6xr and my self would have lower springs than you would ever get, reason being BIG wheels. Our wheels actually raise the car so we need even lower springs.

e.g. if I put 17/18's on my car with my low spring setup it would nearly be sitting on the ground.

Just go and get ssl fited and then if you need it get them compressed, but I think ssl will be fine with 17/18's

mine dont fall out when it is jacked up, and it is reasonably low. the chances of them falling out when driving along is pretty slim, there is a huge guide that the spring sits on, its ~5cm I'd say.

perhaps it is because mine arent compressed though. they looked the same height as the stock ones out of the car.

Thanks Guys.

I think I might go SSL all round

so the fronts don't need to be compressed being that I want the front gaurds sitting at just a bit above the tyres..

that's if SSL's come for the fronts?

HEY XR06T.. isnt this picture of your car?

how would you get it this low without compressing?

and this is pretty much how I want my ride height

yea that's mine. be aware that I had to get the front raised 25mm since then, that was a little impractical to say the least. here is a pic now:

bluesedanmq4.jpg

the front passenger side sits about 10mm higher than the drivers so I still have a little work to do to get it right. im just goint to trim the rubber retainer thing at the top though to even it up.

pretty sure that the company they came from custom make springs to whatever you want. it may be worth giving them a ring before you sign on the dotted line for the kings!

http://www.k-mac.com.au/

I bought them 2nd hand btw so I haven't actually dealt with the company before, and didn't see any part # on the springs. sorry I cant be of any more help. you will also need a camber kit. mine was shocking when I fitted the springs! aparently you can get it shimmed but I didn'f find out about this before I got the kit. no matter anyway, as they managed to wind 8.5 degrees castor into it! :stupid:

Thanks for the info..

I called up Kmacs and they actually do make custom springs to suit any height.

Has anyone else gone with these though?

and obviously it would be better than compressing king springs.. yer?

im just a bit iffy about it all though, as I would have to make the order over the phone as they are in another state.. so what if they made them and got them sent over here and they dont fit at all.. (O_o)
