But I wanna do this car properly so my question is:How do I put my MDF box in the car securely and preferably without doing any permananent damage. Don't wanna drill holes because it only leads to more problems of some kind.Do you guys have a problem with carpet getting pulled every which way in your cars? Do you buy both sides of the velcro or does a particular side stick naturally to the boot carpet? How did you stick your velcro to the carpet in the car?Cheers guys

Posted 21/07/08 01:49 PM Share Posted 21/07/08 01:49 PM if you really want to hold the box in place, why not remove the carpet, Sikaflex a piece of 18mm MDF to the floor, put carpet back in then affix the box with some 'L' brackets. no permanent mods to the car but wont let the box go anywhere! Only a thought but it seems to work well for me.
