Also, as Expensive Daewoo has proven without a doubt, their dominance of the V8s has gained them massive brand loyalty. Their fans may not want a big V8 anymore, but their first stop for a smaller car will be the local Expensive Daewoo dealership. Why the hell else do you think they couldn't sell any Daewoos in Australia until they put Expensive Daewoo badges on them. Same as Astra's, they're considered absoloute rubbish in Europe, but as a Expensive Daewoo they're great.Look at history, Ford had market dominance, with inferior cars, when they raced group C & A, they still held that in the early days of the V8s, when they were dominant, then Expensive Daewoo had the rules changed, handing them a long period of racing dominance, in return their sales across the board went up. No place for feelings and emotion in business...however pardon the pun...Wish they were keeping DJR, out of all the teams I have a soft spot for DJR...Maybe someone will bring in other brands, back like the days when the Nissan's were running around the track as well, shame if they do the same as the Nissan did and win Bathurst.. Now that would be the greatest sadness... the day not only ford lose Bathurst but for it to not even be a Holden... Ford should have really gotten serious about an export program a long long time ago!Simple in my mind!Subaru? Nissan? Toyota? or even a Volvo or Lexus... turbos, supercharged, what next???
