Hi,

I have a BA XR6T 4spd auto with 320rwkw... 45,000km on it

I dont use it much but might sell the everyday driver and drive this car everyday...

Is 320rwkw too much power to drive everyday without blowing something to smithereens..

It has a custom tune done, all the good bits. Is it risky putting too many km on it as something may break? or is this a safe power output for everyday driving..

Do you think it will hold out for a good 100,000km?

I had 320 now have 380+.

The 380 is actually easier 'cos the 320 had a heap of torque down low (as requested by me) and the 380 is much more linear and predictable.

As said have respect for the loud pedal and you'll have no problems.

Im talking about commuting to and from work, normal driving cruising, regular servicing and the occassional flat stick acceleration.. As you would drive any car...

Is just cruising about in these high power XR's contruting to more than normal wear?

My car has 106,000kms on it. It was modified after 20,000kms. Nothing except the auto hasx blown. And if you know me, you know I drive it hard whenever I can.

I drive same model, BA Series I XR6T with same power., never had an issue. As mentioned I service regularly and drive nice "most" of the time. I have 110,000 on the clock with the last 25 being fairly easy. Consdering the first 70-80 were quite hard, I can't complain. Treat it nice, you shouldn't have a problem.

I might load one of the softer tunes in it...

But if you at the lights with say a FG XR6T, Ill be grasping for my capa box in the back seat trying to load up the higher performance tune.... by the time it loads up the Fg is gone...
