I've got an old 2 stroke Victa that I inherited, that is close to 10yrs old that is starting to sound like a LS1 with score marks on the piston but still runs. Got me thinking, might be time for a new one. I'd like a 4 stroke Honda but I know their worth a pretty penny. I was wondering what our members push around their back yards?

why not reuild it for a $80 yourself and have it run good as new for anutha 10 years?

I got a victa 2-stroke mower new about 6 years ago, she pulls first start every time except after I wash it every now and then.. she dun like water!!

have a honda 'masport' or wateva the hell it is... a couple of years old now.

the only problem ive had with it is the throttle handle breaking.

still starts first time every time, pretty good mower.

also have a 'big bob' beast.. that thing will munch tree stumps.

Dads new Victa runs good standard 2 stroke however bearings in the wheels sh*t themselves not sealed due to being hosed after every use our mowers are as clean as our cars.

Husky 16 hp ride on.

Have a Honda self propelled too, but never use it anymore.

I bought it second hand about 14 years ago. It had no tread on the rear wheels, so had been used a bit. Was used every week for 9 years. Awesome mowers

My Oldman has one he bought I'd say 20 or more years ago, apart from blowing clouds of smoke for the first 10 mins, it hasn't missed a beat. I will swap him when his bites the dust.
