So basically your saying the audio quality will be heaps better if I go RCA and not levels into my amp? and this is for the crappest bottom line ICC

I don't expect to understand why but if it actually has some benefit then I'll take the time to do this.

Good guide, printed it out and did it last night.

-Took 6 hours

-Little screws were hard to get out, needed pliers on my screwdriver to break the seal

-Needed another pair of hands

-Needed a magnifying glass

-Need a really really fine soldering iron, really

Hey mate have you tried using pin 4 (standby) of the audio output IC as the switched 12v feed to the amp?

Or pin 6 and 20 are Vcc. But im not sure if the IC runs on a 12v rail? If it is a 12v rail I would think that there would only be Vcc applied there when the ICC is turned on.
