I noticed a little earlier on in the thread that this has been tried with an FG falcon, but the volume was very low, has anyone else with an FG tried this?? I am currently planning a stereo install on my FG but having read this now, I think this may be the way to go rather than fabricating a mount for an aftermarket deck! Would the FG stereo be a similar setup to the BA/BF??

Cheers

Marc

sorry guys I have totally forgot about this...

this RCA mod is a cheap altenative to an LC6i

I now use a LC6i , but am about to swap to a cleansweep or 3sixty.2 or 3

no1 has offered me a FG yet ,

im still keen to do the work if some1 wants to donate

the word I heard is te audio board in the FG is very similar to the BA/F

sub output is the same a rears just with low pass filter

those with premo sound YOU MUST DISCONNECT THE FACTORY AMP IN THE BOOT

when the ICC sees the amp it applies a HPF to the rest of your speakers!!!

also try running with power limiting off!

as for an RCA input , ford sell and AUX input kit (~$100) then a trip to dicksmith/jaycar to get an 3.5mm to 2rca adaptor will give u rca input , (its how ASL feed dvd sound into the factory system)

Also ASL make a AUX input that is better than the ford one!

I will keep track of this now!

sorry guys!

Is that board to supply a remote signal for amps from the ICC you mentioned ages ago still on the cards??? I'm running a 3sixty.2 (I didn't read this thread until after parting with my moneys) but I've just wired it into accessories so a feed from the ICC would be just swell :spoton:

Nice work on the write up by the way :VB Beer:
