I have done a N/A to turbo conversion with a stall convertor, there is no traction control fitted, so putting the power down is an art, the best tyres I have found are the 245/35/19 yokos but they are too soft for aorund town and wear quickly and cost heaps.. so the car spends most of its time on cheapies I get from contacts .....

Try the Marangoini tyres. They work a treat on my brothers Supercharger and according to him are the best tyres he has had till date. I tried to get them for my car but apparently they dont come in 20's :beerchug:

  • Still have a turbo, it's just on a diesel.

Ive had no experience with this brand (let alone heard of it) but the Federal 595RS semi slicks ive ordered were $368 for 265/35/18's. What sort of compound are yours?

buy these ones ^^^

400rwkw, manual, 2nd gear, no worries...

You blokes must have aggressive tunes.

I'm supposed to have 392rwkw and have no problems with my 275/30x19 elcheapo Khumo's.

Come to think of it, I have a 6speed in a BA mk1 with a 3.45 diff ratio. Maybe that calms it down a bit.

I've been in a very similar car with a different ratio box and it has no trouble breaking traction in 3rd.

I'm lucky to break traction in second.
