I would still want one, imagine some I <3 Bananas decide to screw you up because you drive a nice car and chucks a handful of sugar or some other crap in there.

dule that's my reason also..... I'm not worried about anyone flogging fuel as you can always put more in there ... and I don't really leave my ride in places where that could happen easily. As you said mate im more worried some lil fukr dumping sh1t(no not literally that would be funny to see someone try ) into my tank.

Tab - we tried it because alot of people were worried about it happening due to the FG not having a lockable cap. It was basically an excercise to prove a point

If some idiot decided to dump straight sugar into your tank, DON"T WORRY!

There is something else that needs to be done beforeit is put in that not a lot of people know about.

In anycase, it sucks that they don't have locking caps. I have had to deal with the following things.

Ball bearings in tanks make one hell of a racket. handfuls of dirt, quite interesting as they stick to the pick up filter and when the pump stops sucking it all falls back to the bottom of the tank, then you start driving and the car runs fine for a few minutes and then dies again, then the cycle starts again and again.

sugar poisoning. this does suck to try and clean up WHEN done properly.
