Well, I was expecting to see good times from a few cars and I ended up a bit disappointed I must say.

All this talk of real killer watts and there wasn't many to be seen... Except for one, but let's not go there.

:crybaby:

Oh well, there's always next time! :beerchug:

not directed at anyone?? considering you have used a term that is in a couple of members signatures I think it is directed at someone.....

we all know you have your favorite tuner, as does everyone else... but I thought tuner bashing wasnt tolerated on this forum? seems to me that there is an exception when it comes to yourself?

I've never criticised anyone for getting out there and having a go.

read your above post that I quoted.... looks to me as if you are...

sure drag racing may not be your cup of tea, but as for you saying you know its not easy to get a good time in these cars, maybe you shouldnt criticise those that actually are out there enjoying themselves and having a go...

its very easy for you to stand in the crowd and bag out people on the other side of the fence isnt it?

Now they had to chance to back up all their BS and they failed.

define what you mean by failed? you say you've been around long enough so you should know that not everything goes as planned when it comes to drag racing, anything from the car to weather, hence why people go out week after week and try to better their PB.

I've been around these cars long enough to know that getting a quick time isn't easy and having a dyno sheet doesn't mean jack.

then you should know better, shouldnt you?

This isn't directed at Danny as I know he's not one of the group I'm referring to.

by saying this it I believe it implies that you are, and are just trying to cover your own arse....

but hey, opinions are like arseholes, everyones got one....

Look all adam was trying to say that, headsex was trying to run a 10 and didnt ( but we all know he could)

and envy t wanted to run into the 11's but didnt (due to bald tyers)

now the other thread had tuners names thrown around about who is better, what tuners kw are "real" comapered to tunes.

And so adam is just saying that some statements werent backed up by the times, but as stated there are genuine reasons for this.

But at the end of the day the other person in the dispute didnt even go to calder to prove him self or his kw so it could go the other way to.

But fck get over what adam said.... after all he did use one of these :surrenderwave:

And we know we ALL stir the pot here to some point so dont get so defensive, I mean fck if danny dosnt give a sht why should you guys.

Nah I dont give a sh*t.. One of the many goals I've got with my car is break a 10 unopened without breaking a motor. I'm 99.9% there. I dont care for anyone elses records, this is my personal goal.

The Car's got it, I dont! Do the math.. 1.80 60foot, 11.17.. if I had got a 1.70 60foot (I got 1.65 last time a few weeks prior), that's a 10.9x there.. But the timeslip is needed before I'm 100% happy

but obviously I need more drag racing experiance with this car to learn how to launch the bitch properly.

Couple of runs in 1 night does not cut it. And I doubt that heathcote is this sticky based on the reports from the last ford forums drag day.

Once I've done this goal of mine.. This is when things get real serious... to the likes of GT42R/Extractors/Built Engine.. :ifiusethisimafag:

danny.

I used to be one of the guys that used to think how hard can it be to run a quick time. Just launch the car and keep it flat. Easy.

But after my first time at the drags I know it's not that easy and as headsex has said he needs some more practice with the car to get it to launch properly.

I think I'll join that club, 2sec 60fts for an 11.6 at 126mph just don't cut it!!!!

I'm sure if your motor holds up and you get the perfect run you might just get there!

good job.
