Hey everyone.

Bring some more sad news. We were driving home from crown tonight and just near calder park where you turn off for the BP servo outbound there is a railway crossing. Coming up to it tonight about 11:15pm there were blue n red lights everywhere. got bit closer and seen a mangled car sitting on rail tracks and train sitting few hundred metres up the track.

Makes me feel sick in the guts seeing something like this. REALLY hope no one died.

Were flashing lights at this crossing but no boom gates so gotta wonder.

Dunno what else to say. Glad I am no the one of the many ppl that attend crashes like this. Dont know how they do it.

Always sad but I do think how bad the train drivers must always feel.

I also know someone who works for a security company that looks after a train station ..

he said that there is a problem these days were people just jump infront of trains ! .

yeah well I heard somewhere only a female occupant in serious but stable condition so good to hear they will be ok.

still not a good thing. that particular crossing is on a "to be fixed" list I read so see what happens now. sad it takes something so serious for someone to do something about it huh
